Example feedback — what UK parents tell us they want

“I want letters and sounds, not another noisy game.”
“Fifteen minutes. Then we go and play.”
“If it could get us reception-ready without the evening battles, I’d be in.”
“British English, please — not American phonics.”

Two promises, one short session

Acceleration and calmer evenings — not one at the expense of the other.

Reception-ready skills

Letters, sounds and blending in UK English — the work reception actually asks for, sequenced so a young child can practise without a worksheet battle.

Calm independent practice

About 15 minutes, then it stops. You stay the parent: no autoplay rabbit holes, no ads to children, no “just one more game”.

How it works

  1. A simple sequence. Letters and sounds in a clear order. No hunt through menus.
  2. Your child practises. Tapping, saying, blending — active phonics, not a video to sit in front of.
  3. You stay in control. Parent gate, short sessions, you choose when it ends.

There is no human coach on call. The product is the practice — you remain the parent.

Practice, not edutainment

A lot of “learning” apps are built to hold attention. Ours is built to teach a sound, then stop.

Questions parents ask

What age is this for?

Roughly ages 3–6, around nursery, reception and year 1. Every child is different — the 2-minute check is there to help you decide, not to label anyone.

How much screen time?

We aim for about 15 minutes. The point is a short, useful session of letters and sounds, then stop. It is not built to keep a child tapping for an hour.

Is it British English?

Yes. UK phonics, UK pronunciation, and the language of reception and year 1 — not US kindergarten or grade school.

Is there a trial, and can I cancel?

Join the waitlist for launch. Pricing and any trial will be spelled out before anyone pays. No fake countdown clocks, no surprise charges.

What about privacy?

Parent-controlled. No accounts for children, no ads shown to kids, no selling children’s data. We only use a parent email for the waitlist and a short written plan.

Ready when you are
